Dry fruit Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup almonds (soaked in water for a few hours or overnight)
  • 1/4 cup cashews (soaked in water for a few hours or overnight)
  • 1/4 cup dates (for extra sweetness)
  • 1/2 banana (for added creaminess)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional, for flavor)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)

Process:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:

    • Soak the almonds and cashews in water for a few hours or overnight to soften them for easier blending.
    • Chop the dried dates into smaller pieces if they’re large.
    • Peel and slice the banana into smaller chunks.
  2. Add to Blender:

    • Add the soaked almonds, cashews, dried figs, banana, and cinnamon (if using) into the Blendofit blender.
    • Pour in the almond milk (or your choice of milk) and add ice cubes if you want it extra cold.
  3. Blend:

    • Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until everything is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more milk to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and Adjust:

    • Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding a bit of honey or maple syrup.
    • If you prefer a thicker consistency, you can add more soaked nuts or figs.
  5. Serve:

    • Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately!
